How we use SMS notifications

Orella Health uses text messages to keep you informed about your healthcare — from appointment reminders to care plan updates. Here's how it works and how you stay in control.

What messages will I receive?

We only send messages related to your care — never marketing or promotions.

Account verification codes
Appointment confirmations
Care plan & diagnosis alerts
Observation check-in reminders

Message frequency varies based on your healthcare activity — typically 1–5 messages per week. Standard message and data rates may apply.

How do I sign up for notifications?

When you create your Orella Health account, you'll see a separate, optional checkbox to receive SMS notifications. This checkbox is unchecked by default — you can create your account and use Orella without opting in.

"By checking, you are allowing to receive transactional/informational SMS communications regarding account notifications, appointment reminders, care plan alerts, and check-in reminders from Orella Health. Messages frequency may vary. Data rates may apply, reply HELP for help or STOP to opt-out."

You'll also accept our Terms & Conditions & Privacy Policy separately before your account is created. Your phone number is verified with a one-time code for account security.
